Open to collaboration. I'm keen to work with academic and industry partners on accessible maths and data, tactile displays and multimodal interfaces. Get in touch.

About

I’m a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, where I’m part of the Inclusive Technologies group in the Department of Human-Centred Computing. I work in human-computer interaction and accessibility, designing multimodal interfaces with and for people who are blind or have low vision (BLV).

I lead the technical development of Accessible Maths, an ARC Linkage Project building an accessible digital workbook for BLV maths students. My research also combines refreshable tactile displays with conversational AI so that BLV people can explore, question and verify data by touch and speech. My PhD, conferred in 2024, investigated interactive 3D printed models that talk, listen and respond to touch. Much of this work is built through co-design with blind collaborators.

I also teach usability, interface design and making at Monash, and I’m a member of the Monash Assistive Technology and Society (MATS) Centre, where I help run social media. Outside the university, I consult on accessible AI, helping organisations design and evaluate AI tools with and for people with disability.

Before academia, I worked as a software engineer, and I still enjoy programming, hardware prototyping and 3D printing. Away from work, I enjoy watching my football team and swimming laps at the pool.
